Over the weekend I went away with the mrs New Golf Irons, not thinking there would be a golf course where we were going I left the clubs at home. Sure enough Golf Equipment Show, upon arrival there was a small country course in pretty good nick. Anyway I couldn't help myself and ended up hiring some of their shoddy clubs just to get out and play 9.These clubs were old Free Discount Golf, and the woods were obviously not 460.Stepping up to the first tee I wasn't feeling very confident with this small headed driver in my hands but I had no one to impress. I found myself concentrating on hitting the sweet spot a lot harder and sure enough hit a perfect 250m draw straight down the middle. Sweet. Then I did it for the next 7 fairways. Interesting. I'm not usually a strong driver of the ball, but I found the smaller head aided my concentration massively and also seemed to make it easier to close the face through impact. At least in my mind. I've also noticed this with my 3 wood (bridgestone j33) compared to my driver (mizuno 560).Now I'm seriously considering scaling down on the driver head as an option.Anyone else had a similar experience? Also any recommendations for a smaller cc driver? =)Best: 77

sureshot micro vs sonocaddoe v100
fellow countrymen Golf Reviews, after recently buying an ipod for my wife as a birthday present Golf Equipment, and immediately downloading the golfshot gps application Golf News Site, i was horrified to learn that unlike what the chick in the apple store told me, the app only works in iphone. it got worse. i later found out my wife doesn,t even play golf!!!so now i am looking for a cheap gps. around $200, i have read previous relevant threads, i am down to two.i have considered the bushnell neo, but my two are:1.the sonocaddie v100, looks the goods and i am sure would do the job.2.the sureshot micro comes with the cred of its big brother, has a stat bulding function, but at this stage is only available from some bloke on ebay.i only play the same 4 or 5 courses every year so the download packages are not really relevant.i would appreciate any thoughts.thanks in advance,mr. lover..and my wife thinks I enjoy it!!
